Communication characteristics of this application: The Tianyi Device Management APP provides management services by communicating directly with your gateway device on the same local area network. All data exchange is completed on the local network and does not pass through any cloud servers. The application does not collect, upload, or share any of your personal information.

1. How We Collect and Use Your Personal Information

1.1 How We Collect Your Personal Information

Personal information refers to various information related to identified or identifiable natural persons recorded electronically or in other ways, excluding anonymized information. When you use the Tianyi Device Management APP, we may collect and use your personal information.

1. Information you provide to Tianyi

When connecting to a gateway device, you need to provide the following information:

The above information is stored only in your device's local secure storage (Android uses encrypted SharedPreferences, iOS uses Keychain) and will not be uploaded to any server.

2. Information generated during your use of the product

(1) Gateway device operational data. When you manage gateway devices through the APP, the APP will obtain operational data from the local gateway device, including but not limited to: device serial number (SN), device model, firmware version number, device status (online/offline), optical module information (received optical power, transmitted optical power, temperature, voltage, bias current), WAN port connection status and IP address, LAN port connection status, WiFi status information (SSID, channel, signal strength), uplink/downlink rates, device uptime, fault and alarm codes, etc. This information is displayed only locally within the APP and will not be uploaded to any server.

(2) Local logs. Official release versions do not generate any logs. Debug version logs are stored only on your local device and will not be uploaded to any server.

Tianyi may also collect and use non-identifying data. Non-identifying data refers to data that cannot be used to determine an individual's identity. For example, statistical data. The purpose of Tianyi collecting this data is to understand how users use our products and services, so as to improve our services. Tianyi may independently decide to collect, use, process, transfer or disclose non-identifying data for other purposes. We will do our best to isolate your personal information from non-identifying data and use these two types of data separately. If personal information is mixed with non-identifying data, it will still be considered as personal information processing.

1.2 How We Use Your Personal Information

We may use your personal information for the following purposes:

(1) Connecting and managing gateway devices. Using the IP address and password you provide to establish an encrypted session, interacting with gateway devices through encrypted communication protocols (RSA-OAEP-SHA256 key exchange, AES-256-CBC command encryption, HMAC-SHA256 message authentication) to implement functions such as device status viewing, WiFi configuration, network settings, Mesh network management, parental controls, and security settings.

(2) Local credential memory. Securely storing your gateway connection information (IP address and password) for automatic connection on next use, eliminating the need for repeated input.

(3) Other situations: To comply with applicable laws and regulations, court orders or regulatory requirements; to protect the safety of us, users or the public.
